The relationship between the Master and the disciple is one like no other. As of now, all our relationships have happened from the mind or from the heart, driven purely by our intellect or emotions. But the Master-disciple relationship operates from the very core of our being. Actually it can't even be called a relationship; it is much more than that. It is a connection, a deep connection between the realized and the unrealized. And soon, there will be no difference between the two , only a deep merging will exist; and the unrealized will realize that they were always realized, just that they were not awakened to it! This is what the Master-disciple relationship is about.
In the so-called 'love' which we experience in our daily lives, there are many ups and downs, and in the process, we have only been falling in love. But with the Master, a much deeper feeling arises. It is a communion, a deep merging between two beings where identities are really lost in love. With the Master, you can never fall in love; you can only rise in love!
